Our new theme

Once I went to school. I thought: another day doing our theme of culture. When I got into the classroom in my surprise I saw a sign saying “Solar System” on the board. I stood frozen. “What did that mean?” I did not know so I asked the teacher. And what do you think she said? We were starting a new theme! I was so excited! But after couple minutes I got ready to learn.
The first hour we did math. We took a really easy test on multiplication. Well, I think I answered all of the questions right.
The next subject was Science (my favorite subject including Social Studies). We were supposed to compete with the boys. Who got the most points in answering science questions won.
The next subject was our new theme! We learned all kinds of things about the SOLAR WIND, and the NUCLEUS of a comet. Do you know what nucleus means? It is the center of a comet. Do you know what solar wind is? It is a continuous flow of gases from the Sun. This wind has a very big FORCE.
The next subjects we did were social studies, more math and grammar. The school day went Foosh! I was going home thinking about our new theme when I realized that I was just passing my house. I went in and told my parents all about our new theme. My dad said that after supper we can go and see the stars.
The clock went tic-tac-tic-tac and it was supper. We had soup and some chicken. After supper my dad and I went to look at the stars. We spread blankets on the grass in our backyard and started looking.
“Dad?” I whispered.
“Yes?” said my dad.
“Tell me more about space” I said.
“Well, not too much but I will tell you some things” he said.
“OK” I said.
“There are tiny PARTICLES in space” said dad “ and did you know that planets and comets loop around the Sun? Their LOOPS can be huge.”
“Wow” I said.
“Yeap” said dad.
But know I was falling asleep thinking how FLUORESCENT stars are.
